Who is behind the unique atmosphere of the Ladce Christmas Market?
First and foremost, it is a result of widespread collaboration. This event was made possible by the Municipality of Ladce, Ladce Elementary School, the Municipal Culture Commission, our beautiful MaHoLa Manor House, and a host of volunteers!
But the heart of this event is undoubtedly the owner of our manor and a great visionary, Silvia Da Col Heisar (@silviadacolheisar), who has an incredible talent for bringing people together for a good cause.
Today, we share a few photos of the creative team, Silvia, and our distinguished guests.

Jan Krump: The Art of Finding Hope in Blue
The artist Jan Krump, largely self-taught, has been accompanied by art since childhood. A graduate of the University of Economics, he dates the beginning of his creative work back to 1993. At that time, he was inspired by the works of the surrealist painter Salvador Dalí, whose style enchanted him so much that he began painting reproductions of his works; first with pencils, then moving on to oil painting. Over time, he found his own style, and the COVID period led him to a creative phase where the color blue began to appear more frequently, bringing him peace and hope.
Throughout human history, the color blue has carried various symbolisms. Today, we perceive it as a true vitalizer; it determines our biorhythm and our internal clock. It brings us peace, relaxation, spirituality, and awakens us to positive thinking.
And Janko’s works are exactly like that. As a great lover of nature, a hunter, and a fisherman, he sees the gentle beauty of raindrops, the ripples on the calm surface of a pond, feels the warm rays of the sun, and the colors of the rainbow. As a skilled actor on the theater stage, he enjoys the well-deserved applause of his audience.
The success of a painting often depends not only on the composition but also on the impression evoked by the choice of colors. And Jan Krump, alias Jovan Todorovič, has chosen the right color.
