The portrait of Jeannette Popperová ended up in our castle almost by a miracle. About 5 months ago, a lady who owned the original of this photograph came to the municipal office in Ladce. She knew that we were restoring the castle, which in the 19th century was owned by Jeannette herself. She received it as a dowry from her father Leopold, who had bought the castle from the original owners, the Motešickýs.
