Church of St. Valentine as a part of the manor house in Ladce
The Ladce municipality hides not one, but two historical treasures on its territory. One part of the Motešický manor is a church with a unique patronage of St. Valentine, which was opened to the media and the public for a short time on February 10, 2022, thanks to the helpfulness of its owner, the Roman Catholic Church, Ladce parish. Thanks to numerous media outlets, the whole of Slovakia learned about the church of St. Valentine, whom we now consider to be the patron saint of lovers, and about the Ladce manor house at an opportune time - right on Valentine's Day.

Article about our lecture "Jews in Ladce in 1939 – 1945"
An article about our lecture "Jews in Ladce in 1939 – 1945" came out in the december issue of Ladecké Zvesti.
You can read the article below (in slovak).
04.11.2021 - Lecture: Jews in Ladce 1939-1945
As part of the MaHoLa project, we also deal with sad but important topics. In 2021, we commemorate the 80th anniversary of the adoption of the so-called Jewish Code, which was the culmination of the anti-Jewish legislation of the war of the Slovak Republic. Anti-Jewish regulations also had a devastating effect on the smaller Jewish community in Ladce, the fate of which was the topic of Tomáš Michalík's lecture "Jews in Ladce in the period 1939 - 1945", which Tomáš presented on November 4, 2021 at the Municipal Office in Ladce and its modified form at the Primary School in Ladce. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the mayor of Ladce, Mr. Jaroslav Koyš, as well as the principal of the Primary School in Ladce, Mr. Bronislav Majtánová for the opportunity to present this challenging topic to the inhabitants of Ladiec and older pupils of the school.
